About the owner
Aaron Markowitz: DJ ATM
With over 6 years of experience as a professional dj, Aaron’s passion is making all events a special and exciting experience. He first got into djing and event production at the age of 13, doing events for family and friends, and slowly worked up to larger private parties, corporate events, school dances and weddings, curating each event with care. He works closely with all clients to achieve the precise vision that they have for their particular event. When he’s not djing, you can find him at the airport flying planes or enjoying beautiful Sonoma County.
Mixing Style
Many djs have different styles and techniques to which they perform their craft. I have spent the past 5+ years creating my own style, taking inspiration from many great djs, performers, entertainers, and industry professionals. I like to focus on the basics of being able to read a crowd and analyze who I am playing for to be able to match the energy of the room. Pressing play on a song is the easy part, it’s knowing how to keep the flow of the dance party going all night, which offers the challenge. I incorporate a few different methods for doing this, such as blending, beat matching, and word plays, just to name a few.
